Head coach Muurinen: ”Fulham’s a great challenge, but first we have to beat Vetra”

HJK Head coach Antti Muurinen is taking it easy. Nothing’s settled yet between HJK and Vetra until next weeks second match. He still thinks it’s a challenge HJK is keen to take on.
First match between HJK and Lithuanian team FK Vetra ended 0-1 in Vilnus, Lithuania. HJK took a step ahead, but unfortunately left some hope for Vetra for the second match.
- We played all right, surely one or two goals more would have secured our situation for the second match. Now we have learned Vetras strengths and weaknesses and, in my opinion, are better prepared for next week, Antti Muurinen ponders.

- My first reaction was that we surely could have got easier opponent than Fulham, but giving it a further thought, it’s a huge match in many ways: for example we get to challenge former Finnish National team coach Roy Hodgson. I hope the draw result makes us want to win Vetra even more. Fulham’s a team we all want to play against, Muurinen says.
- But like I said: first we must win Vetra. That’s the first thing in my mind.
