HJK-captain Haapala stays confident

Finnish League, Veikkausliiga, continues after the pause. HJK’s next game, home game against defending champ FC Inter takes place on the 28th of June.
HJK continues hard training after Midsummer festivities on Monday. Captain of the team says they are ready for the challenge of the rest of the season.
- Few days rest was great. It feels that the guys are more energetic than few weeks ago and full of enthusiasm, Haapala says.
The first part of the season 2009 is behind and most important games are still to come. According to Haapala there are some things that needs improving.
- First of all, we have to find more energy on goal scoring. It’s a cold fact that we haven’t scored enough goals in the last games before the pause. Secondly, there are still too much goals done in our net. We need to tighten our defense, meaning the whole team.
Haapala is pleased with the fact that despite the few setbacks HJK is still running for the Championships. At the moment the Club is fourth in the table.
- Only the first part of the season is played and more decisive games are coming. Not only the League matches, but also Europa League and Finnish Cup games. At the moment the most important thing is that we are eager to achieve glory.
